After four incredible years of building Reef, we’ve made one of the biggest decisions in our company’s history.

We’ve become Settl.

This wasn’t a decision we took lightly. Reef has helped thousands of people discover inspiring places to work, study, meet and focus. It’s a name that has become synonymous with flexible workspaces, community, and helping people get out of the house and into great local venues.

So why change something that people already knew?

Reef was where we started—not where we’re going

When we launched Reef, remote working was exploding.

Our mission was simple: help people find great places to work beyond the office and home. Coffee shops, hotels, pubs, co-working spaces and independent venues all became part of a growing network that gave people more choice over where they worked.

But over the past four years, we’ve learned something much bigger.

People don’t just want somewhere to work.

They want somewhere to settle in.

Whether it’s answering emails over a coffee, revising for exams, holding a client meeting, writing a dissertation, collaborating with colleagues or simply escaping distractions at home, people are looking for spaces where they can feel comfortable, productive and welcome.

Our platform had evolved.

Our name hadn’t.
