What is Reef?
Reef is a membership platform that connects remote and hybrid workers with laptop-friendly venues, hotels, cafés, and workspaces, where you’re genuinely welcome to work, not just tolerated.
Where are Reef venues located?
We have venues across the UK and, on Premium and above, internationally too. The network is growing, new venues are added regularly.
How do I access venues through Reef?
Through the Reef app. Find a venue, make a booking, and show up. No awkward conversations at the front desk about whether you can stay for three hours.
Is Reef available yet?
We’re currently in the process of launching our new app, so we are in waitlist mode. Join the list and you’ll be among the first to get access when we launch.
What kinds of venues are on Reef?
Hotels, cafés, and hospitality venues that have been vetted for remote work. Think reliable Wi-Fi, good coffee, and staff who actually expect you.
Do I need to book in advance?
You can book ahead or on the day, it depends on the venue. The app will show you availability.
Is there a free plan?
Not currently. Plans start at £10/month (or £100/year), which works out cheaper than a couple of ad-hoc café days once you factor in the food and drink offers.
Do prices include VAT?
No. All prices shown exclude VAT, which will be added at checkout.
How does the yearly discount work?
Pay annually and you get 2 months free on any plan. Standard drops to £100/year, Premium to £150/user/year.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from within the platform.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards with more options coming soon.
Is my data safe with Reef?

FAQs for Individuals
Which plan is right for me as an individual?
If you just need somewhere to work and want access to food and drink offers, Standard at £10/month does the job. If you travel, work internationally, or want Perks and guest access, Premium is worth it.
What's the difference between Standard and Premium for individuals?
Standard covers unlimited national bookings and food and drink offers. Premium adds global bookings, guest invites, the ability to book with friends or colleagues, and access to Reef Perks.
What are Reef Perks?
A growing set of member-exclusive deals with partners like Google, Jabra, NordVPN, Worldpay, Fitbit, Honest Mobile, and Pooch & Mutt. Included with Premium and above.
Can I bring someone with me?
On Premium, yes. You can invite up to 2 guests per booking. They don’t need their own Reef membership.
What do the food and drink offers look like?
Discounts at Reef partner venues include discounted coffee, lunch deals, free coffee and more. The specifics vary by venue and are shown in the app.
Can I use Reef if I work from different cities?
Absolutely, that’s exactly what it’s built for. Premium gives you unlimited global bookings, so city-hopping workers are well covered.
Will I feel welcome at venues, or will staff be confused?
Venues on Reef know you’re coming and want your business. No awkward “are you actually going to order anything?” energy.
Can I see which venues are near me before I join?
We’ll be sharing more on the venue network as we approach launch. Join the waitlist and we’ll keep you in the loop.
How do I cancel my membership?
Straight from the platform. No cancellation calls, no hoops.
Can I pause my membership?
We’re working on flexible options for members. More details coming at launch.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Monthly plans have no long-term commitment. Annual plans are paid upfront for the year.
FAQs for Teams
Which plan works for teams?
Premium supports up to 250 users and is ideal for small to mid-sized teams. For larger organisations or teams needing meeting rooms and hotel offers, Enterprise is the right fit.
How does team billing work?
Premium is priced per user per month (or per year). Your total scales with your headcount. Enterprise pricing is bespoke. Book a demo and we’ll work it out together.
Can team members see where each other are working?
Yes, on Premium, members can view and book with friends and colleagues. Great for spontaneous co-working without the calendar ping. This feature can be turned off and on.
What's the business case for offering Reef to our team?
A Reef membership costs less per month than most teams spend on ad-hoc café days. It gives employees a consistent, productive alternative to home, which means fewer distracted video calls and more focused work.
We're hybrid, is Reef still relevant for us?
That’s exactly the sweet spot. Reef gives hybrid teams somewhere to land on their office-optional days, without committing to expensive co-working desks they’ll only use twice a week.
What's included in Enterprise that isn't in Premium?
Meeting room offers, hotel room offers, up to 5 guest invites per booking, unlimited users, a dedicated account manager, and free onboarding.
How much does Enterprise cost?
Enterprise pricing is tailored to your team size and needs. Book a demo and we’ll put together a proposal.
Can we manage team members centrally?
Yes, team admins can manage users from within the platform. More detail on admin tools coming at launch.
What happens if someone leaves our team?
You can remove users from your plan at any time, and your billing adjusts accordingly.
Can we trial Reef for our team before committing?
Get in touch via the Teams demo page and we can talk through options. We want to make sure Reef is the right fit before you commit.
Do employees need to set up their own accounts?
Team members are invited to join your Reef plan, they’ll set up individual profiles, but billing is managed centrally.
Is there a minimum team size for Premium?
No minimum. Premium starts at 1 user, so even a solo founder or small team of two can use it.

What is Reef for venues?
Reef brings a steady stream of pre-qualified, remote-working customers to your door, people who want to work from your space and spend money while they’re there.
What kinds of venues can join Reef?
Hotels, cafés, and hospitality businesses with reliable Wi-Fi and space for working. If your venue is laptop-friendly and your team is welcoming, you’re probably a good fit. We are now even working alongside co-working spaces.
How does the booking process work for our venue?
Reef members book through the app, so you’ll know who’s coming and when. No walk-ins wondering if they’re allowed to stay, everyone’s pre-confirmed. We even integrate with booking platforms to make the journey seamless.
Will Reef members actually spend money at our venue?
Although we can’t guarantee this, 100% of our bookings in 2025 spent in-venue. Reef is built around hospitality, not just a desk. Members access exclusive food and drink offers, which means they’re incentivised to order, not just occupy a seat.
How are we listed on Reef?
Your venue gets a profile in the Reef app showing your location, facilities, offers, and availability. Members browse and book directly.
Do we need to change how we operate?
Not significantly. Reef is designed to fit around how hospitality venues already work. We’ll handle the onboarding and make sure your team knows what to expect.
How much control do we have?
Reef is built with your flexibility in mind. Control how many people at one time, max. group booking sizes, shutdown days and booking notice periods, with more features coming soon.
Is there a cost to list our venue on Reef?
No. Our revenue comes from the users. We take no listing, booking or commission fee from your venue.
What support do we get from Reef?
Onboarding support, a venue profile in the app, and an ongoing relationship with the Reef team.
How do we handle members who aren't respectful of the space?
Reef members are vetted through the platform, and our community standards are clear. If an issue arises, you can flag it directly with the Reef team.
Can we offer exclusive deals to Reef members?
Yes, that’s part of what makes Reef attractive to members and drives more spend your way. We’ll work with you to set up offers that make sense for your business.
How do we sign up as a venue?
Either complete the sign up form or book a venue demo and we’ll take it from there.
